Now in Art Alley
New art has arrived in Art In The Heart Alley in historic downtown Dickson!
We’re excited to feature a new piece by local artist Michelle Murakami, now on display in the alley. This vibrant artwork brings Dickson’s history to life, highlighting iconic landmarks such as East Hills Restaurant, the former Dickson County High School, and the local fire department that once stood beside Art In The Heart Alley.
In addition to this incredible new piece, the alley will also be home to two unique art installations starting on Old Timers Day, May 1, 2026, by talented local artists Toyzini and Art in the Heart President, Patricia Hudson.

Mural Project
Exciting progress is underway in historic downtown Dickson as the first stages of a large-scale mural project have officially begun!
This mural will be located on West College Street, directly across from Zack’s Music Shop. Art In The Heart Dickson is bringing this vision to life, featuring the talents of several local artists.
The project is being led by Art In The Heart Dickson President, Patricia Hudson, and is expected to be completed in early summer.
This vibrant mural will celebrate Dickson’s rich history, highlighting beloved local businesses from the past while adding new energy and character to our downtown streetscape.
