Reuben Smith

Reuben Smith is a multi-disciplinary artist who brings history and atmosphere to life through his expressive paintings and drawings.

These current works are part of a series entitled “Odd Birds”. Everyday objects take on new meaning and explore how we identify, categorize, and label each other. This show explores some deep concepts but never takes itself too seriously. They will be on display through April 30, 2026.

Reuben Smith, BA Art Education 2005, Berea College, Berea, Kentucky.  Throughout his life, Reuben has used a variety of art media to communicate, entertain, and inspire.  He served the community through the YMCA camping for two decades.  He is currently the President of the Artist Guild of Dickson County and founder and operator of The Dickson Drawing Club.  A multi-disciplinary artist who paints, print makes and draws.
